Positions at Providence

    EMT

    EMT’s are responsible for transporting persons to and from medical appointments and medical facilities while applying necessary medical treatment to sick or injured persons, assuring that quality patient care standards are in place. Work is performed in accordance with established Standard Operating Procedures and under State and Local Medical Director approved protocols.

    Wheelchair Van Driver

    NEMT drivers provide non-emergency medical transportation to people who go to medical appointments and other destinations. Our drivers are compassionate, caring, reliable and responsible individuals charged with getting clients with mobility challenges to their destination safely and on time.

    EMS Dispatcher

    This position is responsible for receiving incoming calls, dispatching units, and transmitting information and messages upon request and/or according to established procedures. EMS Dispatchers assist in all operational aspects of the dispatch group, including but not limited to; scheduling, data entry, customer service, compiling and auditing paperwork, preparing packets for billing, as well as interaction with field/management staff.

    Wheelchair Van Dispatcher

    This position is responsible for receiving inbound calls to the company, watching for driver performance, and scheduling issues, preparing price quotes, and performing other administrative duties as assigned. This position may also be called upon to act as a driver during severe driver shortages.

    Fleet Maintenance Technician

    The Fleet Maintenance Technician performs preventative maintenance, diagnoses, repairs, and services mechanical issues with company vehicles and equipment. The technician must also be able to drive any vehicle in the fleet and be available for on-call status as needed.
